What to expect

Cast off from Portimao, heading west along the coast before dropping anchor in Joao d'Arens for a swim. It's a calm and secluded beach with beautifully clear water, but guarantee you'll be busy looking up at the dramatic pink-hued cliffs that line the bay. This place is famous for its sheer cliffs, panoramic views, and the iconic lighthouse perched at its tip.
