At Milan Porta Garibaldi Train Station, in front of the main entrance. Facing the Milan Porta Garibaldi Train Station main entrance, the meeting point is on the left side, just outside the station, in front of Briccocafé next to the stairs and under the covered roof. Arriving by metro: take the M2 (green-line) train to Garibaldi. Make your way to the train station main entrance. Arriving by taxi: ask the driver to take you to Stazione Garibaldi in front of the train station main entrance. Please, arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
What to remember

Accessibility:

  • Not suitable for wheelchairs, strollers, and those with reduced mobility

Not allowed:

  • Any guest under the influence of drugs or alcohol or to any guest whose behaviour is disorderly, or poses a threat to other guests or staff

Know in advance:

  • Entrance into religious sites requires a strict dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. The tour operator cannot be held responsible for refused entry due to improper dress
  • Photography is generally permitted throughout the tour, although it is restricted in some churches
  • This tour requires a minimum of 4 people to operate
  • Please be advised that in the case of events beyond control, the local tour operator may need to adjust the itinerary to ensure the safety, quality, and satisfaction of your travel experience
  • Please note that on Sundays, this day trip takes you to Varenna instead of Lugano. Lugano's shops and restaurants are typically closed on Sundays, so this change to the itinerary ensures you enjoy an equally delightful experience
  • From March 18th, the ferry cruise will be replaced by a 1-hour private boat trip
  • The duration of the boat ride may vary in summer season and winter season
  • It is the responsibility of all visitors to ensure they check the official travel advice on the government websites
  • This service ends at Milan Cadorna train station around 7.00 pm
  • Please note that infants free of charge do not have a reserved seat on the bus.
  • You will not be able to join our tour if you have any luggage or suitcases with you as we do not have a storage space to accommodate items on our coaches. We are also unable to take responsibility for any baggage that would be left on the coach during your tour time.

  • Comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water
  • Passport (it is mandatory to enter Switzerland with a passport)

    Overall the trip was good and worth doing , however Tui clearly lie in their description saying a maximum of 25 people as there was 50 on our trip with only one guide
